Headquartered in San Diego, California, Entraspan, Inc., was founded in 1998 to develop Intranet products for the emerging business-to-employee (B2E) market.

Entraspan products originated in 1996, with the first known commercial Intranet application written in Java. Interactive OrgChart was originally developed in conjunction with Netscape to demonstrate the value of Intranets.

Entraspan products are targeted at Global 2000 companies, but are easy enough to manage for organizations with as little as a few hundred employees. Current offerings include OrgTraks, an application for the creation and dissemination of organizational charts through a Web-browser. The software is designed to integrate with existing human resources databases.

In 2001, Entraspan created Cohesion Technology, its software which serves as the platform for all current and future offerings to the B2E market. Entraspan products are sold and installed worldwide.
